Time for some ACTION

"Do not look the other way; do not hesitate. Recognise that the world is hungry for action, not words. Act with courage and vision..."

Nelson Mandela

FROM THE FOUNDERS

We are black men. We set up this label with a clear goal to create and develop great art. We set up this label with the hopes that we could be a beacon to our creative community. We dedicated ourselves towards independence and supporting diverse voices. Particularly marginalised voices, and visions that wouldn't get a shot in the system that exists. Voices from the black community.

We have been and continue to be against all forms of racial injustice. We are painfully aware of all the wounds that have not healed, structural and institutional shortcomings that have not been corrected and a fight that rages on. We support this fight. We support the dismantling, legal retribution and punishment of those who have done wrong to black people, the descendants of the African diaspora, minority groups and other people of colour we stand in solidarity with. Then and now. This is a generational problem, we haven’t resolved it. It is all of our issue.

Now, and as we move forward towards justice - it is not a time for words anymore. It's time for some action.

We've gathered and prepared links of all the resources you need to educate yourself and take action now. We will continue to update this site regularly with links & resources as they make themselves available.

A MANIFESTO FOR CHANGE

The first steps towards real revolution and real change is to...

PLOT
PLAN
ORGANISE
STRATEGISE
TAKE ACTION

We must do this together, ALL OF US - black people and those who count themselves as allies and believe in humanity.

Protest in mass but educate and organise yourselves first -

DO NOT GET INVOLVED IN THINGS YOU MAY NOT BE PREPARED FOR, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, SETTLE YOUR EMOTIONS, THINK CLEARLY AND FIND A WAY TO PLAY A PART YOUR WAY

Write to your local politician, bully them towards your agendas, start petitions and hold them and institutions like law enforcement who are just not good enough to task.

STAY SAFE
